2008 Erma Bombeck Humor Writing Conference
May 18, 2008

In April I attended the Erma Bombeck Humor Writing Conference in Dayton, OH. This is the fifth conference (occurs every two years) and I have attended the last four conferences. So you could say at this point I’m a “lifer.” Anyway, humor writers come from all over the United States and Canada to network and learn from some of the best in the industry. This year’s keynote speaker was radio host, author, and Tribune Media Services columnist Garrison Keillor. Other notable speakers were Mike Peters, author & illustrator of Mother Goose & Grimm, Craig Wilson, feature writer for USA Today and may more. For photos of the conference, check out my Press Pics.
