Arai

Hirotake Arai created Arai in 1937. At the time, he released his first motorcycle helmets on the Japanese market. After its initial success Arai entered the Australian and the United States market. The success of the helmet was much attributed to its reduced weight thanks to the use of a patented aerospace grade fibre glass, a lowered centre of gravity as well as liners made of multi-density foam. The Japanese helmets comfortably met the requirements of its motorcyclists.

44 years later in 1981, a Dutchman Ferry Brouwer developed a passion forArai motorcycle helmets. A mechanic on the circuit, he spotted the brand at the world championships, worn by drivers like Phil Read, Takazumi Katayama and multiple world champion Australian Mick Doohan. His belief in the success of Arai convinced the brand to launch into the European market. And so on February 27, 1983 the adventures of "Arai Helmet Europe" began.

The range of Arai motorcycle helmets includes open and full face helmets, including pilot replicas, as well as off-road helmets.

Truly setting a high benchmark,Arai helmets are now synonymous with high quality, comfort and performance. They are a wise investment.
